RIN: An Assassin’s Tale
Catherine Harridan is a woman of many names and many talents. She was groomed from a young age to be Wraithland’s top assassin. Now in her mid-30s, she has settled into the life built for her, until a long-buried vision from her childhood flashes through her mind, raising questions about the motivations of her employers and the kingdom that she has spent her life working and killing for. An ancient prophecy comes to light that promises to change everything about the world as they know it, a prophecy that brings the Elves back after 10 thousand years, threatening everything her employers have worked for. The prophecy, along with a mysterious newcomer, creates tension between her and her fellow society of assassins. Now she is presented with the choice to ignore it all and accept the hand she has been dealt or fight to change everything for herself and her world.

The Kingdom of Wraithland has been sending magic-wielding assassins to the continent for some time. Their main goal, right now, is to gather information, for what? Reikka doesn’t know, and she’s not supposed to ask. She’s supposed to assume the life of Lillian Telebh, niece to the continent's richest man, and find out his secrets.
Through the drudgery of the day-to-day life of a high-society lady, a little voice inside her head begins pushing her to ask questions. Restless and frustrated with her kingdom, the society she works for and her mission Reikka stumbles into the darker side of the continent, finding herself not only at odds with everything she’s ever known, but also in the middle of a turf war between two organized crime syndicates, that are both tied to the man she’s been spying on.
Forbidden magic is everywhere, no one is who they seem, none of them can be trusted, oh, and the dragons are coming out of hiding.
